Birth. Family. Community.
Rebecca Koller, CPM
Antonia Piccone, CPM
Welcome! We are Rebecca & Antonia, the midwives of MotherSeed Midwifery. We provide care to people and families through the seasons of pregnancy, birth, postpartum and early family forming. We aim to build strong relationships and engage with people during these times in a collaborative partnership that is unique to you and your family.
It is our belief that it is healthy and strong to create, grow, birth and care for the new humans of Earth AND form families in a way that is in alignment with how people live their unique lives. We would love the chance to learn who you are, what matters to you, and why homebirth with a midwife is in alignment with how you live your life. Recognizing that diversity is an essential part of community, we welcome all individuals who seek midwifery care and celebrate the variety of experience that each client brings to our practice.
We provide holistic-minded, whole-person midwifery care from conception through the postpartum period. Discover what this process looks like and if it might be a good fit for you.
As midwives, we strive to respect, recognize and honor the weaving together of spirit and science in health, birth, family-forming, and life. Read more about our philosophy of care.
We have put together an extensive list of resources to help you on your pathway through pregnancy and into new parenting, including local providers, educational resources, and useful books.
“A peaceful birthing reverberates out to the room and all the people present. It is a memory that is permanently implanted into your baby’s cells. This Program of Peace is what your child will operate from its whole life.”
“I want to express gratitude for the synergistic holding of our family that Rebecca and Antonia did together for us, twice. They complement one another beautifully in terms of ways in which each thinks and offers information, guidance, and holds space. I have joked about having more babies to spend more time with them. Any mother and family would be in the best of hands for affirming and supportive midwifery care.”
